Right, so, my journal is going friends-only. Not that I've updated in AGES [although I am going to try and start getting more regular] but I've discovered that searching for my RL name now gives first-page Google results linking here ( Read more... )

Hahaha, really? My RL name just turns up results about WHAT A KICKASS WATER POLO PLAYER I AM.

ETA: Clearly the solution is not to flock your journal, but to improve at water polo.

Hahah, that's great. Mine turns up.... quite a few other Dana Hubers, including one who owns a winery and one who attended UCLA but would have been in my class if I'd gone to UCLA (I was accepted by them as well as UCSD)...

But yeah. It's Clarion's fault. Too many thingies linking to my name as a Clarion person which somehow linked onto this. Who knew.

I was thinking about a career as a pool shark or possibly a poker player. I must tell you about this awesome, horrible dream I had.

Oh thank goodness, my name only brings up a bunch of people who aren't me, some recipes I submitted to rec.food.cooking waaaaay back when and a rather startling number of quote pages that like my old .sig, "Doing STRANGE THINGS in the name of ART, and STRANGER THINGS in the name of CHOCOLATE."
