hmm so the valley is going back to the way it used to be? my sis lived there in the early 90's and I often stayed with her and trust me, the valley back then was a seedy junkie haven, most of the buildings are ownded by organised crime so it makes sense that it is the way it is.
I'll always miss the dirty punk gigs I used to sneak into in the valley when I was a teen but then back in the early 2000's they closed down a lot of clubs and music venues (residents complained about the noise, when hello,it's the fucking valley, don't move to the club district if you are bothered by noise) and they tried to "class it up" putting in expensive condos, clothes stores and bars, it was nice for a while but at the end of the day it's still the valley.
it's a waste of time tring to fix it, they already tried and failed. plus i kinda have a soft spot for seedy run down cities (they make me think of post apocalyptic dystopia) it's probably still nicer now then it was 20 years ago, that's something.
I think its slowly improving. We first came about 3 or 4 yrs ago and it was a total hole. Someone got stabbed right near us in broad daylight! Now it's getting some cool shops and eateries! My fave part of Brissy :)

I totally agree, the valley could be so beautiful if she had a bit of lovin'!
