i keep thinking about the comment ang left me.."you're allowed to cry, you're allowed to hate him & miss him & love him at the same time."...for some reason that REALLY helps along the way. everyone else just says the usual "your too good for him, just move on and get someone better" but what she said makes me realize that she knows its not as easy

they were a few quick lines, but they mean the world to me as well. i've been in your situation & i know how it is. that's why i know it's okay to feel that way. & it is okay, no matter what people say. & i know you're definitely getting the "don't worry about him"s & the "you need to just move on"s because i got those too. hanging onto something that you're used to is natural, & hanging onto someone you love is even more natural & harder to let go of. but i assure you, when the time is right for YOU, you will find the strength to let go. <3
