An Update.

Today I received the most saddening check of my life. For Two Weeks, I earned 45 dollars, rounding up. I worked 7.3 hours I think. I always close and we get out early, so I didn't even get 8 hours of work like I'm scheduled for. So Sad... On a lighter note, the reasons I'm so damn busy: Track and School. Also, I got a 24 Hour membership, so when I ( Read more... )

On the 'having expectations', consider these two points:

a. Try writing down every little itty bitty thing you could think of (as well as the large things) to want in your 'perfect' person. That way you know exactly what you're looking for.

b. Consider crumpling up that list, lighting it on fire, and chucking it out the window. Realize there lays no 'perfect' person in this world. Our imperfections make us beautiful and unique. Even if they may make us incredibly difficult at times. If you go into something with eyes open and no expectations, then you end up being so incredibly amazed at all of that person's beauties and good qualities.

That's just what I've gotten from my experiences.

Damn right keep on truckin'. How have you been truckin? I might just do that sometime. As long as you don't try to be my mom. :)

Well based on your entry, I'd say you have rather high expectations for a girl. However, keeping your standards at a certain level isn't a bad thing. But despite the things we look for in other people, we should allow ourselves to accept more wiggle-room. Our world has trained us to become associated with the things we personally expect and if we limit our options then what could possibly be available? Also, try to not be so discouraged when it comes to asking out that particular girl. Yeah it's easier said than done at times but think of it optimistically. Anyways, I just thought I'd give you a bit of an outsider's insight and something to think about.

p.s. I hope you can find some time to enjoy your break, and try to not work so hard. See you in english. :)

I have done absolutely nothing over break outside of my usual agenda which is disheartening. I was trying to get at just that during that entry but it took me 30 min to write it with a lot of distractions, so my train of thought has a few bumps. Oh well. Thanks for the opinion though, and Not Another Teen Movie is rad and so are you.

P.S. Your dad is funny. Not who I would expect to father a girl like yourself. :)
