I'm afraid that I have no idea. He mentions it in a song called Lights, but I don't even know who or what LTJ Bukem is (unlike David Toop, for example).
I can't believe I omitted your W., because I couldn't quite remember if it was indeed your middle initial or not.
LTJ Bukem is a drum and bass producer and label owner, who popularised "atmospheric" or "ambient" drum and bass. As teenagers, my friends and I would go to the local student unions and dance to his music when he would DJ there.
Regardless, it is fast approaching 1am and I have finished the brie: nightmares await me.
I have omitted the W in my name for nearly eight years. However, given recent events in this country, I now am feeling that it is in fact Morning In America again and have resumed the use of my middle initial. (On a related tangent: at the Melvins show last night, Buzz and Coady sang The Star Spangled Banner a capella near the end of the show and I actually fucking cried. It's been difficult, these last eight years. But I digress.)
LTJ Bukem sounds kind of lame, but I probably shouldn't say that until I've heard for myself. It also sounds like he's Duke Nukem's cousin, which is a whole different kind of lame. Specifically, it sounds like one of those English hyped to death things like Spring Heel Jack that, upon closer inspection, turns out to be lame. But again: I have no idea because I am neither hip nor with-it.
All best,
Christopher W. Pratt
PS: No, I wasn't. I was respecting the lowercase specified in your LJ profile, but I see that it is perhaps no longer warranted?
