Thank you for continually stiffing teachers in higher education on educator discounts. Apparently, you both believe that if you aren't teaching in K-12, you aren't really a teacher. Obviously the hundreds of dollars in books and other materials purchased to supplement my curriculum last semester don't count. Also, apparently my money is not green.

wow. That's LAME. Sorry. Maybe you should ACTUALLY SEND them that letter, or at least let them know it's in yer blog making them look like the corporate assholes we all knew them to be. DO THEY WANT you to go to Overstock.com?

Yeah, and it's comparable to Borders and B&N. It's just that they don't email me coupons. And laziness. Sheer laziness.

I worked at Barnes & Noble last year. The teacher discount is just a button that can be pushed by anyone at anytime. The trick is to find a sympathetic cashier and always go to them.
