I saw Extreme Animals at the Museum of Contemporary Art tonight. Overall, the show couldn't have been more of a bust in terms of crowd interaction, sound, etc. but I think I could have really gotten into them in the right environment. A new print portfolio emerges.

The complete portfolio is in an edition of 3 and there are a few larger prints around. Yeah they're dark. Fuck you. Lightroom excites me sexually. Also, thanks to a lot of irritating work and research, I've mastered the fine art of color management. Consequently, the printer I'm using weeps tears of pure ambrosia. ( Read more... )

So my grandma-ma died at about 9:30 this morning. It wasn't a surprise, really. She'd been under hospice care for almost a week now and the nurse mentioned that she'd probably go within the next week or so. As of last night, I now have two striped kittens occupying my apartment.

They have yet to venture out from under the bed and explore things, but when I retrieve them myself, they purr loudly.
