Realization: I'm the one who broke up with her, and I'm better off for it, so I really shouldn't care if she's with someone else.
And I am on to bigger and better things with my life. Despite the job, I haven't felt this happy in a long time. Rejoining the society of family and friends has been a truly great experience.

Should I try to get laid off?

Ok it's going to be a 30% cut now and no cut in January. He then said he has a plan that will make me not want to leave in the fall.
