No, so far there is only one person who posted a fic -- ironically, I beta'd for her. It was alright. I mean, the concept was really interesting but the writing was just, it was alright. It wasn't horrendous in the way that I wanted to shoot myself, but it was just typical writing, you know? I don't know how to describe it. I think there are authors who can pen in a very simple manner and still be effective. The Perks of Being A Wallflower was written like that. Very simple speech but my goodness, it moved me. There was something special about the words, you know?
But yah, everyone was GUSHING over it and I was just sitting behind my computer screen slightly confused. Ah well. Still waiting, I guess. :P

But ugh, I hate it when that happens when a concept is interesting but the writing sucks!! I know what you mean, though. Some authors, though simple, can string it together beautifully, and some are just like, "Yes, OK. *pat on head*"
LMAO, everyone online (and sometimes real life *coughtwilightcough*) is always gushing over the worst shit ever...

Bwahahaha. YES. I actually went on a full out rant to my dad today because I had no one to share my frustrations with. XD Poor man. Had not a clue as to what I was going on about.
