So, my friend and MFA mate Dong Hee and I are curators for this small gallery space that we are now using as a place for our MFA group shows. In addition to being a graduate assistant/secretary and MFA student working on her thesis project, I am now a curator, pr writer and organizer. O.o ( Read more... )

Looks like it's going to be a very interesting show. I'm sure you have a lot of fans that wish they lived close enough to come support you.

You did a great job on the flyer. If someone gives you any crap at all, make their section on the flyer smaller.

Aside, people really shouldn't complain, since you did an excellent job; they usually don't understand, anyways, how much work has to go into each and every step of the process. :)

I WISH I COULD GOOOOOOOOOO :( It all looks so amazing!

But omg, you're the curator, PR writer, and organizer. I did that for my senior year reading... It was horrible. I think all artists--be it with writing, drawing, or music--are all horrible with responding to emails D:

Honestly, they are great people in person -- all very nice and friendly and not clicky.

But trying to communicate with them via email is like trying to communicate with another species. It's like, they do not know how to read or hear. And these are COLLEGE level people. I feel like I am dealing with my five year old students. O.o
