oh i saw this under tumblr tags for sailormoon~~ weird. i scoured the website like nuts. it's really nice! great job! i used to always dream of putting together a super comprehensive sailormoon site..
You are a tumblr person too?! That is so awesome! I always find it strange when I find a tumblr'r on lj. It's like they are two different worlds and I do not expect some one to be apart of both. Tumblr people are so different from lj'rs. Although, maybe not so much and it just seems that way. :P
Thank you for the compliments on isshou-ni.net. ^^ And if you want to make a site as well, you should totally go for it! I've been wanting to put this one together for 11 years now. XD
O.M.G!! It is beautiful! I just finished reading some of the essays, my favourite being the 1st one, "Usagi and Mamoru: A Love of Forced Obligation?" You pointed out the obvious to those who doubt their feelings toward one another and I love the Doom Tree series so I caught on to all those hints... but I am obsessed as I have re-watched the anime way to many times already!
It makes me want to hunt down the manga volumes I am missing so I can read the entire series from start to finish!
This is an amazing achievement, hon! I love the layout and the gallery; especially the panorama caps.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! -glomps you- That means so much to me, Anji-chan!
I am glad that you like the Doom Tree article. Honestly, I never even thought twice about Usagi and Mamoru loving each other because of their past. I mean, it certainly helped bring them together but it was never really the deciding factor. I actually started re-watching the Doom Tree arc in Japanese right before this article. The first time I watched it was YEARS ago in the dub and when I saw it again, it was like watching it in a whole new light. It was so OBVIOUS to me that Mamoru was intrigued by Usagi and that she meant more to him than regular girls.
And you totally can re-read the manga online in the BEST format! Missdream.org has scanned all of them and they are in gorgeous quality. Go read it there!
I also wanted to say thank you for the little gift that you sent me through lj. I have been meaning to thank you for a while now but, as you might have noticed, I am not on lj much anymore. Still, it made me so happy to receive it. :)
Miss Dream is amaaaaaaaaaazing. The webmistress, Elly, is such a sweetheart and she is just brilliant at scanning and translating! Gyah, love her so much. ^^
So very many thanks! :D It means a lot to me that people actually are reading the essays and enjoying them. I was sure that no one would bother with them.
