The only part of the book I thought was worth reading.

Gah. I love us.

I wanted more Dudley-is-Good-At-Saying-Stuffz.

Because.. dude, he pwned. He owned Draco so bad. Draco couldn't even say "thank you". At least Dudley was mature. And friendly. And was randomly like, in a leather jacket (which made me fear for our fandom, guys ^_^). Now, I wanted more details on the dementors/Dudley.

I loved Petunia-details! I wanted more!

I wanted to know if they were all right! I assumed they were fine; Dudley had packed his weights after all. ^_^

I mean.. she would've said if they died, right!!!?

..I want to add that Draco is a character I love, and I thought his 'wrap-up' was highly disappointing.

I wanted more. But I was pleased with what I got. I liked that he made the effort -- after the complete lack of mention in HBP, I was rather worried she'd leave him tarred with the same brush as his parents -- and I liked that Harry completely understood what he was trying to say.

I thought the apparent twin-ness of Pet and Lily explained their relationship a bit (though I was bewildered as to why, if they were so estranged, Petunia would send Lily a vase for Christmas, ugly or not) but I would like to have seen more acknowledgment from Petunia. I thought it was really interesting that Snape was the "awful boy" Pet mentioned in OotP, though, when we all assumed it was James :)

And I think Dudley-in-a-leather-jacket is far closer to my mental picture than Dudley-in-a-Nike-jersey-and-bling from OotP ;)

(And why, I ask you, wasn't he standing uncomfortably at the platform with his Muggle-born child in the epilogue? :P)

Well, god, because that is just TOO obvious. =) Ah, that made me HAPPY. And... it would have been a wonderful touch. Why wasn't it in there???

I loved seeing Chavy-Nike Dudley at fifteen and now sorta-suave "I Work Out!" leatherdaddy Dudley at seventeen.. he's moving on up!

Can we assume his dementor showed him what an awful relationship he'd had with wittle Harry?

I guess... I mean, clearly that was the side effect, but a highlights video of Harry Hunting just seems so vague. I would really like to know what exactly he saw... if there was a barely-remembered event that just horrified him in the reliving... because he was so badly affected, I feel like it must've been bigger, badder and more specific than, say, Ron's "I felt like I'd never be cheerful again."

If there's an encyclopedia-style book, like I've heard hinted, Dudley's Dementorvision will be one of the first things I look for.

Totally! ew.. It makes me mad she didn't write that!!! Because Dudley was SO affected by it.. puking everywhere and stuff. He really changed his life around, too.
