I bought the new EXTOL cd and at first I was disappointed. majorly. But after giving it a second ear I thought about what I was hearing..... the new EXTOl no longer dark heavy complicated music with amazing vocals. its now light airy fast more chugga chugga like Trash metal.. vocal style is different but after listening its not bad

yo. yeah i understand what you're going through (or gone through rather), except my dilemma didnt end well. there was alot of depression and hurt feelings and confusion, and well she's the type who likes to escape her problems, and i felt i was hurting rather than helping, so it just dulled out, no real closure. but i still miss her like heck, especially since shes been my best friend for years. shes just not her anymore. but whatever, my point is im here if you need someone to talk to.
i agree, the new extol is nothing like undecieved or burial, but it is good. they havent lost their flava, just added some seasoning and dried it up a bit. i definitely like the old stuff better, but this new one is growing on me. im glad they kept the pretty singing though. im still adjusting to the thrash yelling. im going to miss the scary growling screams.
i'll probably see you sunday.
