only if you could accept the fact that you changed something about you...who you are...just for money. i think if you like the lip rings and stuff you should keep them. parents are lame anyway. id probably keep them in just to spite' them

yah i completely agree. i want them sooo bad. and they just finished healing, but were talking about like 2,000 dollars. and a car. and dignity for my mother so she doesnt have to feel at fault for what i wanted. i dunno. i think with the money i am gonna find a roomate and move out. if they want me to change, i should just leave. and then put em back in and have both the money and the piercings. ahhahaha. oh boy, i'm a dork.

Don't be bought honey. If you wanna do it to save your parents (and yourself) the grief, tell them you'll do it for that reason and that reason only. Not because they are paying you to do so.

You have your entire adult life to express yourself. Giving in for the sake of family bliss is a mature decision.

Now, taking money in the amount it cost you to get the piercings done would not be unreasonable, but more than that is selling yourself out.

Well I dunno sweetie it's all up to you. If you think you'll regret taking them out then don't because you shouldn't regret anything. And if your parents have a problem with it fuck them. My mom just told me she is disowning me cause I got my lip pierced but you know what? It's who you are, if you like it don't change for anyone.

yah thats what my dad said. he kicked me out of my house for it. parents are so lame, the only reason they care is cus they care what their friends and other fam members think of how they raise their children. blah.

i think you should take them out till you are 18 because thats what im doing with my lip piericings since im not allowed to have them..so go for it get all the money babe <3
