I was working with a patient who shares your first name and she asked politely about you. I told her that you've made fabulous one-of-a-kind dolls that have sold for hundreds of dollars at auction. She asked where you live and when I gave a descriptive answer she shook her head. "Oh, dear. I've been there. I suppose sometimes it must be very difficult for her."
LOL - USUALLY... the only people I deal with are on-line... and it really really IS a sad thing, when people you've never met are more 'real' to you, than people who walk up and say something...
Oh dear.... doesn't even BEGIN to cover it! *grin*
In better news though... we've officially and as of today even, fenced off our 'it takes me an hour and 1/2 to mow the sucker on a riding lawn-mower' side yard, and have a GLORIOUS quarter horse hanging out there now... - it helps? :-D
He's just soooo beautiful! - he has the whole 'coat gleaming in the sun' thing going on!
He's a working horse (or used to be), buckskin gelding... he used to work on the feedlot out here (thankfully out of smelling range... *grin*) - these days he does roping competitions.
He's HUGE for a quarter horse, seriously - 16-17 hands HUGE for a quarter horse!
(and verra sweet, I get to feed him morning/night - and he's just... cuddly! *grin*
(no, I never DID manage to outgrow the whole 'tween horse-mad' bit! LOL)
