Well, I submitted my novella to Harlequin for its ebook program. All 13,000 words of it. Now I just wait and see. OH GOD. *practices breathing, then remembers that's for childbirth, not submission anxiety.*

The internet, it is a glorious thing! I've had a 100 gallon pond shell sitting in my shed for like, five years. After I had kids it just didn't seem like a great idea to also have a pond. Congratulations to Neil Gaiman for winning the Newbery Medal for The Graveyard Book! Now I definitely have to read it. I hesitated, since I have kids and stories that involve kids in danger are always dicey for me, but dang! How tremendous for him. Read what he has to say about it here.
