I don't really have much to say about yesterday. It was how it was.
Karen and Kay came last night. We're driving to Mudanjiang tomorrow to stay with some family for two weeks or so.

Sorry if I made it seem like I was coming home earlier in my last post. I should have specified. My plane back is September 1.

Apparently when I woke up yesterday morning (Sunday), my body decided it was going to feel like shit for the entire day. WHOO! Whenever I moved my head I felt dizzy, and whenever I felt dizzy I felt like vomiting. Great. I spent nearly the entire day laying down. Sunday, my cousin came over to take me out. We went eating and shopping with two of her friends near the zoo. The market there was crowded. Concert crowded. He has a girlfriend. One who he goes vacationing down at the shore with. He would. Well there goes that idea. I don't blame her for snatching her up. He probably lives with her too. Ugh. Eh, not like i was going to act on it anyway.

Oh, I forgot to say: he's a musician. A drummer. Can you believe it? A drummer. It's amazing. He told me he likes songs in English better than songs in Chinese. He said English lyrics fit song meanings perfectly, and sound beautiful. I absolutely love that. I can't say the same for his music taste, however. Work has been getting progressively better but still on the same boring/what am I doing here? level. Tuesday and Wednesday night I spent in the dorms. One thing I absolutely hate about China: mosquitos. I have more mosquito bites on me than Claire has STDs. Before he left for work, Dad tells me I should leave at 7:30 or 7:40 since it takes 10-15 mins to walk to the hotel. I take his advice with a grain of salt since his steps, like his bites, are 2-3x larger than the average person's. After passing customs declarations, I saw my dad waving from a mass of Chinese people waiting to pick up their family/friends/etc. My dad isn't that tall. He's around 5'11"-6', but that's pretty tall for the average Chinese person. I spotted him right away.
