It’s been three days since Don was shot. Three days of pure Hell as far as Charlie was concerned. Charlie couldn’t even remember a time where Don was in this bad shape. In fact for quite a while during the surgery, it seemed as if Don was going to lose his battle to survive. When the doctor told them the news, Charlie sat down and wept.
It had been three days since Don was shot. Charlie was on his way to the hospital, but something in him held off on going. Instead, Charlie decided to go to Don’s temple. The last time Charlie set foot in a temple was when his mother had died. He honestly didn’t know why he was going there. It wasn’t as if Charlie was a religious person. The more he thought about it, he considered himself more of a Passover-Hanukkah Jew, even if he didn’t go to temple at all.
It had been three days since Don was shot. Don’s injury gave Charlie a lot to think about. He almost lost his brother without ever saying ‘I love you’ to him. Now, today, Charlie felt he owed it to Don. He would go to temple and say a prayer for his brother.
