We found a place!! It really is fantastic! well, for the most part. It's no Ottery St Catchpole, but Bernie says i really shouldn't compare as I've never lived anywhere else, have I? Same house and all! She says she would think it would be too off, living in the same house you grew up in! I try to tell her that if she han't married me she still ( Read more... )

Cho's being looked after, Diggory. You've got my word on that.

If you need any help moving, you know where to find me.

thanks, Hooch.

Interested in any of the old comics? I've got a feeling Bernie's not going to want to take the dusty things to Little Bredy with us.

Amos, you are okay? Do you need anything? So lovely to have you here the other week. We really must have these adult parties more often; it was such fun!

Also, let Bernadette know that I am available to help with the packing! I am rather good at it, actually.

oh no, i'm all right, just a bit off at the moment, never had to move before! And of course the party was heaps of fun, what else would it be with you lot??

Bernie says if you have any tips she's all for it. Packing and sorting is apparantly slow-going with me salvaging everything from the rubbish!

Ah. Yes, clutter is the enemy of the efficient mover. You must be ruthless in ridding yourself of the unnecessary, particularly as you are moving into a cottage. You don't want to be one of those people who cannot even sit or move about in their own home because there are piles everywhere.

However, you must keep those things near and dear. It is very difficult, to tell what you are keeping because you want it near, and what you are keeping because you cannot bear to let it go. If you do need help, we can come round this weekend. I find taking everything out of one room and piling it on a tarp in the garden to be very enlightening. Seeing it spread out in the light of day can help you make those sorts of decisions. And think, you can sell what you do not want, and have more galleons for decorating!

er. I suppose this is all very good advice. i'm afraid i didn't follow quite a lot of it, but Bernadette seems to think it's a stroke of genius on your part! Shame there's no room around all those holes in the front lawn to set anything out. and it's really not that the things are necessary or unnecessary, An. I'm not even sure i'm even ALLOWED to sell the house, let alone throw out or sell any of the old family things. but maybe you're right er sunlight helping the decision making process and that.

Oh man- it was all Bernadette's doing! It's really impressive, L, you should come round to see it, help me box some things up. Maybe you could meet one of Bernie's friends while we pack!!

I'll see if I can come around when I'm not busy!! Box some things up, isn't that like what the muggles do to each other?
