FAVOURITE VOTES;- A good example a fantastic icon without having a subject (character from the anime, screencap, etc.). The icon uses a funny quote from a good part in the movie (Izzy/Koushirou's part at the very end makes for a hilarious, deadpan-type punchline). The icon implements good use of subtle text changes (change in color and size; nothing extreme like changing the font) to emphasize certain parts of the quote. Plus, all the colors that were used mix well with the background, while the timing of the animation makes it feel like the conversation is actually happening while you're reading it (it's not awkward and it makes it easier to actually 'hear' the characters saying those lines

FAVOURITE COMMENTS; - The text placement really adds depth to the image and helps the overall feel. - The icon is really nice, the colors match, and the text works perfectly. (: - The crisp vivid coloring makes the pastel colors within the image stand out. The choice of text and textures complements the image well especially the light texture in the background. - Lovely use of brush and the text although the choice of texture could have been changed as it makes the background look pixelated.
SPECIAL CATEGORY COMMENTS; - The textures use compliment the image very nicely. The whites especially give it an airy feel. - You've really brought out all Sora's warm tones and it's a lovely contrast against the blue sky. - The blues in the background are very vibrant, and don’t overpower the rest of the icon. - The colouring accentuates the lonely feeling of the icon.
I've asked the maker and they're fine with you using their icon :)
LESSER QUALITY COMMENTS; - The placement of the text is a tad bit awkward, and a bit tough to read. Maybe if the maker could add a pink background to the text, and got rid of the text shadow would work well. :D - The text doesn't work well with the icon. The placement could have been worked out better by placing it maybe at the bottom?
FAVOURITE COMMENTS; - A great crop combined with appropriate text, and the light texture beneath the text is a nice touch. Maybe the text could have been white, though.
SPECIAL CATEGORY COMMENTS; - This icon has a very 'warm' coloring to it. The pinks & reds stand out, but they don't overwhelm the more muted colors of the icons like Mimi's skin tone. The light texture is also a nice touch and helps in making the icon a bit more calm and not too vibrant. The white text isn't out of place either because of the inclusion of the whites in the straps of Mimi's hat and in the whites of her eyes (though a suggestion would be a better font choice; maybe a 'messy' font like Pea Prochazka)
