Just one little thing, long stretches of text behind LJ-cut please? there are instructions on how here http://digimon-savers.livejournal.com/profile
I don't personally mind but maybe some other people will.

As for those xw generation people, they will just never know better, so it's their loss :V

I think one problem is that there was SUCH A BIG GAP between Frontier and Savers and Frontier was already the least favorite amongst fans. Add on another season that doesn't necessarily have a gogglehead, the female lead only gets one and a half focus episodes and the other male lead is a giant Gary Stu, well, you're bound to hear that Savers is the worst ever.

Savers is a wonderful addition to the Digimon franchise. Unfortunately, people are stupid and don't give new things a chance. Frontier wasn't widely received, but once Savers came into the picture well :/ Something new to latch on.

You really should have been around when digitalrewind was still active. The comm was super active during Tamers, declined a bit during Frontier and finally died off during Savers. Only one other person and myself still commented.

Like the other female lead except Ruki is treated better than her (just my opinion, Yoshino is a great female lead character that got a real development while she has only few focus episode), like Touma's gary-stu-ness is worse than the-messiah-Taiki and like his gary-stuness worked in front of Masaru.

What i don't get it how they skipped Savers just to watch Xros Wars with Nene's cockroach hair and mechaic Digimon, and how dare those people judge Savers by just the first 11 episodes while it's known that in almost every Digimon series the earliest episode is the weakest of them all

I do agree with most of what you said.. But others were neglected in the Xros Wars crossover. Other seiyuu like Kouji's, Kouichi's, Gaomon's, Touma's, Ikuto's and others were active but never spoke. AiM said she had a few speaking lines but never spoke as Mimi. Not to mention what happened to everyone after the last battle was never explained ( ... )

Yeah true that, but still Savers suffer the most neglection.

I know about that, but i just can't help but wonder why the heck Agumon looked like he was surprised while Masaru was just punching Asuramon.

Hm... that might be the case, wonder if Xros Wars will suffer the same case if the seventh series will appear around 2015.

Haven't really checked Deviant art since most image sites i visited are gelbooru and pixiv. But still i believe if even in deviantart there's more Savers than XW still there would be more XW/YH/Tamers characters than Savers cast in a crossover picture.

It's really not. I noticed you mentioned WtW. Will, at the end of XW, everyone could pretty much agree that XW failed miserably. Also, if you look on Pixiv under Digimon's japanese name, there are a lot of Masaru/Taichi Masaru/Takato pair pictures.

I guess I've just gotten used to people hating on SAvers. I could not care less now what people say. They missed out on a great series and that's that. =\ There's no use in getting angry. It's just a waste of energy. There are better things to use your energy on. Like the things you do like. I'm currently watching Inazuma Eleven, a soccer Anime and I love it. As well as Gintama, Sket Dance, Natsume Yuujinchou and others. I'd rather use my energy being happy about those.

True that, but still... it's a crossover type of fanarts which is over 50% the reason why Savers got mentioned, unlike the rest that easily got their own fanart from their own series character.

Maybe it's just because i happen to still lurking on 3 digimon forums, where one is a game forum (KDMO) where the Savers Digimon got underpowered and one is my country's Digimon forum which is of course full of nostalgist and beyond Tamers haters (heck even one refuse to call Masaru's Agumon as Agumon 2006, Agumon Savers, Masaru's Agumon and he prefer to call it with his own given name which he doesn't even want to explain what's the meaning...). But yeah, other than Digimon i like Saint Seiya, and i shouldn't really surf on the internet so often since i need to study to go to college.

Argh i can't stand those people that always hating on post Tamer-stuffs! How dare they claiming that fail sequel 02 to be better than any of the post Tamers series! Too many people won't take off their nostalgia goggle <.<

I love XW and I love Savers as well. Hunters is the only arc I can't manage to like. Not hate, I just think it ruined XW in general. If anything, I like the crossover as extra material (like an OVA) and that's all. o.o"

About Doujinshi and Fanarts, I dunno, isn't XW's kodomo style easier to draw than Savers' shounen style...? I like the drawing style but I admit I don't draw Savers that much because I'm a lazy *** who's too comfortable with Digimon's previous kodomo-like style in Adventure, Tamers and Frontier. 'xD And XW is kind of similar to this style, so...

I think Masaru got an extraordinary emphasis in that crossover. o.o" I think Savers was the only season that actually had "a protagonist" in its full concept, so I find it natural to leave it to Masaru to represent the show... but maybe this is just me.

I'm not saying I'm happy though... I could leave with Savers being overlooked by the fandom, what upsets me is when older fans do the whole hate and bash each others about this. ^^; Can't we all agree to disagree or sth...

I actually like XW, what i don't like is how the fandom easily label them as amazing thing and claim it's far better than Savers and Frontier (which happen to be my favorite and 2nd favorite series). You're right about YH, i personally consider YH not canon to Digimon anime ( ... )

Broken English #fail sorry. 'xD I mean Digimon Savers focused Masaru in a way I didn't see with Taichi, Daisuke, Takato and Takuya. I saw it with Taiki though. Usually the question "why is he the main character" is answered with Taichi getting the first evolutions and such. But Masaru proved he's the main character due to his unique personality and he even goes against the system if he has to. I don't know if this made any sense...
