Teehee... love it! In my eyes, Digimon always had a more unconventional way of dealing with more human (or rather: man-made) concepts such as overly rule-bound games (and seriously, they all look sorta alike... :P), so seeing Patamon applying his own style is quite fitting.

Mandatory nitpick: Unless you're channeling Mario, the "Daisuke was a now a surprisingly competent chess player" part in the beginning seems to have an "a" too many ;)
