Today I was told my standard of betrayal is too high. I dunno, but it seems to me that when a person has been my friend for four years and they allow a person they've known for less than a year to rant about me then utterly refuse to hear me rant in kind that's betrayal. I'm the only one trying to keep this alive? This is between me and him, and it's been settled for months the way it is. I didn't ask him to call, and I dunno why he did so, but he should have known better. All I said to you was that he called, so be prepared to hear from him that I did not answer. You wanna throw your two cents in after that, great, you did so. Calling me spiteful and unreasonable, that's over the line. Adding, "but this isn't an attack," or "I do not mean that to be harsh," doesn't change the fact that it is. I assume you've talked to him about it, because I know both of you, and you know his side. Great. I'm not talking to him for reasons that are my own, as my friend you can either have enough trust in me and my sense of honor to know that those reasons are valid, if unexplained, or not ( ... )
