And Yayasan Bumi Sehat is a very reputable organization that sends medical aid to women and children in need. They are doing incredible work - all volunteer, no one gets paid to help out. I am possibly going to go lend my skills if they need me in May.
It's worth mentioning too: anyone with skills and time should consider helping out. Unfortunately, some people with skills and time are just showing up in PAP and instead of being helpful, are actually causing chaos and stress. Find an organization, do it the right way.
thx for posting this - it's amazing/disgusting how pundits will try to work even mass human suffering into their crooked world view. it's time to expose them for what they are: parasites making their living off others' misery. (i keep telling my parents that they should spend less time being judgmental on tv, and more time trying to be christlike, then i might actually respect them, instead of mocking them whenever fox is on...)
