I can't believe Tegoshi's comment is the only one I wanted to see. Like, well duh all of you are still going to work hard, I don't need to know that, now apologize so we can all move on. Tegoshi gets a +10000 from me for apologizing firsthand. He's completely not my type, but I feel more like supporting him every time I hear him talk.
I really don't care that Ryo left NEWS because I always felt like that was going to happen someday. But Yamapi...I don't even pay attention to the guy but he's the center and he just left. So apologize! It's not like it's going to cost you to say a few more words. Also he's one-half of my OTP and I'm sad I'll never see them interacting again, but this is unimportant. I don't really know Yamapi, so I don't know what else to say other than apologize.
From Sexy Zone (...that name asd;klgjragefit) to NEWS, it's like Johnnys is forgetting what made boybands successful. Or like they're trying and failing to imitate the Korean pop business. K-pop is successful because they're new and bright and fast, they push things out until there's no longer anything to push and then they leave. However, this is Japan. I don't know about Korea, but as a Taiwanese heavily influenced by Japanese values (despite not liking Japan...), this goes against traditional values and it's just not understandable. I'm trying, honestly I am, still not getting it.
Another thing I feel like they're trying to do is forcing me to be a solo-artist fan. I might as well not care about the groups because any group after Arashi is unsteady. I don't believe in horoscopes, but if there's any ounce of truth in it, it's that I am not forgiving. I'm not angry, and I am perfectly willing to accept this, but I am not going to invest in something that is unstable.
...You know what this gives me a whole new appreciation for SMAP. Seriously, Nakai is a genius idol group leader. Two of their members have been suspended, but both clung on and came back. There are rumors of them disbanding every month year and so far all they do is joke about it. Seriously. Do I need to go back to being a SMAP fan?
I just want to see Massu dance again. My original wish is no longer in the realm of possibility, so please, I just want to see that boy dance again.
