My first term of graduate school is over and I don't know whether I feel anything about it. This makes thing seem a bit more dismal than they are, probably especially after the last post. i totally have a platonic girlfriend again. it feels nicer than i can express, the feeling of safety and comfort in knowing that someone i care about deeply also cares about me deeply, and that we've normalized expressing that care.

Academically, I'm doing a project each on feminism, BDSM, and monogamy, all with different people. Lead author on two. Very stoked.

Crocheting a large blanket out of my remaining crappy yarn. Yay.

Still homesick, but I'm pleased to have good distractions.
