one of my favorite things to do is to clean up the kitchen after i've been taking care of a fussy baby who hasn't napped all day, especially after the baby spits up all over my face

that's been my primary focus, too, trying to not let how upset and/or annoyed i get effect how i treat sylvia. i know she's not at her most observant but i'm sure she has a sense of when i'm happy or not.
