i'm making curry rice......well, actually defrosting some i made last week. Yummmm. Some how my mind slipped into when I was in Japan and alot of the cool chinese people in the dorms made me some really kickass chinese food. Real chinese food, i'm not talking that neon orange fast food crap we see here all the time. Ahhh, those were the days

haha, my curry started to snap at me after one week in the fridge, so I threw it out (that was about a month ago). How do you make your curry? I use the japanese curry bars (where even HOT is not very hot, which is good for me)--and throw that along with veggies and meats (& coconut milk... :) ) into a slow cooker crock pot. Then I go to school, come back, and it'd be ready.

Awww... you don't like that orange chicken stuff? Hehe, even though I'm Chinese, sometimes I get hit with an "orange/lemon chicken" pang (that's really the only fake chinese food I like tho).

i bust all the Japanese curry bars and slow cook it with chicken and veggies, and when it's done, I bust some vanilla yogurt in the mix and it gives it a smooth taste. Bust out the rice and on top goes the curry....hella yummy!!!

orange/lemon chicken is all good but it's just like you said, it's fast food. I friggin love the hardcore chinese cooking my friend's mom does....she owns a mandarin resteraunt and dayam, i wish my mom could cook like that!!

I shouldn't complain though.....my mom busts some pretty damn good mexican food even though my dad is the mexican one....hell, i think her spanish is better than his too....my family is too weird. At least i have my grandmother on my dad's side for the full on mexican food....i'm just steering clear up all the whack ass cow part food...there are just some things on a cow not meant to be eaten....

Oooo... now I have a craving for Mexican Hot Chocolate---that stuff is the bomb!
