I'm home for the break with very little to distract me from the SPN fandom and so here we go again. This is a graphic I made last night while thinking about symbols for Destiel, Supernatural in general, and season 5 specifically.

Wow. Thats an amazing drawing and coloring. I looked at your portfolio and may I say you are an amazing artist. I love your style, its so smooth and clean.

Do you mind if I ask how long it took you to get a style? Ive been drawing for awhile and I just dont get any better.

hmm i would say that I don't really worry about style, mine changes so often and the pros tell me its not important to have one when you're young. I've also been drawing for like, a looong time. over a decade now. its frustrating, I know, but you just have to find things that inspire you to draw and keep working at it.

I think these are beautiful depictions of Dean's amulet. I especially like the glittery, enchanted feel of the last amulet's coloring. <3

yes, I'm with you on wanting more for the amulet and for Castiel as a wildcard. It's hard on storytelling for GOD to be running around, but hey, they went there, and so they should have to deal with it. :P

I love your rendering of the amulet.

I think I'll never stop wondering who originally made that amulet in real life and what it's supposed to be!! but it's really kind of cool. :)

yea, I think I read something about the amulet resembling depictions of a certain African god, but they've never explained where they got the prop.

you're right, they kind of wrote themselves into a hole with the whole God thing. and then shied away from it, but hopefully they'll wrap it up better in the future. I liked where StarAndrea and some others were going with Dean being Micheal incarnate. The Chuck!God thing doesn't work because the amulet doesn't work on him. I mean, i guess the whole point was to show that Castiel's faith was disproven because it was all a lie, so I'd like the amulet to turn out to have a different, unknown power.

*_* oh man, this is gorgeous. Looks just like the real thing, and in such a high res, too! I make amulet manips/icons a lot (I'm a tad obsessed) so I will probably wind up using these at some point IF that's all right <3333 I'll be sure to credit and let you know!

i feel you! i am so in love with that amulet but there's never really a good shot of it, i just had to give it life. I would LOVE to see the image used for more fannish pursuits :D thank you!!
