His whole world lay in ruin at his feet. Lisa was right, maybe even more than she could ever know. Healthy, sane or balanced were probably none of the words that would have ever worked for his and Sam’s relationship. He knew that, Bobby knew it. Hell, even Sam would have said the same damned thing if anyone had ever asked him.
But, that didn’t really matter anymore. Sammy, his Sam, had left the building. This bleeding husk lying at his feet wasn’t his brother. It might have his body, yeah, but it sure as hell didn’t have his heart.
