I am hoping the I.B. results come in soon, so I don't have to take English and Statistics.

what classes make up that minor? How's that work?

A contemporary history minor is basically just 4 contemporary history classes (could be from asia, europe or america) that do not already count for your liberal arts degree. Or at least that was how it was explained to me by a TA for the race and ethnicity. You might want ask your advisor.
