heavenly mints

Ok, so I came across this site through a wired news story about 10x10, which is a pictorial news site that is really worth checking out, truly an innovative way to display the news. Still, what it led me to is a site called Oral Fixation Mints which is all about a company that makes some really sweet mints and tins. I love the cinnamon and chai ( Read more... )

If you can find out where they sell them in Ontario, I can try and pick some up for you on my way home. But you'd have to tell me in like the next 24h, as I leave on Friday afternoon. :)

Alas, two places in Toronto from what I recall, and a third in the middle of nowhere I think. Thanks though!

Same here too btw, although it'll be a bit longer before I'm home. I'm totally in if you want to order them though!

Well, I double checked, and the three places are in Toronto and Whitby, so I think we are out of luck in that regard.

Going to update the post again, but just to re-iterate the point, if you want a tin or two, post a comment indicating what type and how many. When I get twelve or close enough I will order them.

What's this about a 'mixed tin' though?

Not so much a mixed tin as a mixed box. Basically, you get twelve tins in a box, and you can pick and choose what those twelve tins are from the six types of mints available. So, in my case I want a tin of 7 deadly Cinnamon and a tin of Night Light. Nicole wants a tin of Mojito Mint. This means that I have three of twelve spoken for already. Clear enough? I know, kinda hard to articulate, but if you need to check out this link for the site, it should help clear things up:

Ah, gotcha. I was hoping you could get a single tin with some mixed flavours in it. so how much would these work out to each?

Really? Never saw you as a big mint fan *shrug* then again, considering my fascination with cinnamon, I seem to have a mental block understanding why anyone would choose anything else *grin*

Okay, I'm on for a tin of mojito mint and a tin of sugar free tibet

I'm also debating a tin of the peppermint.

And dude, why would you EVER want cinnamon!?! *grin*

Because cinnamon is the king of spices. Oh, and it is supposed to be good for you.

And if that isn't reason enough for you, because 'all the cool kids are doing it'

Cinnamon is good, when placed with other things, in cooking or baking. On it's own or in those little hearts or mints or whatever it's enough to burn your tongue off, and I somehow don't think haveing no tongue is good for you. *grin* read that three times fast and understand it. Yay for double negatives!

And dude, the cool kids are so into the peppermint. it's WAY cooler. *grin*
