This idea is one I had earlier today and actually love to bits (and may explore on my own, but I certainly don't mind others having a shot too!).
Pacific Rim AU in which the Jogress/DNA Digivolving partners are co-pilots/drift parnters who control giant mechas! The mechas, of course, would be named after their Jogress/DNA digivolutions (Silphymon/Omegamon/Shakkoumon/Paildramon/etc).

Eeee! That makes me so happy to hear! I loved Pacific Rim and I thought Digimon was just perfect for an AU! :) I really hope you do run with this idea because the world needs Pacific Rim/Digimon fusions ;)

Basically what the title says. This should probably be a crack fic, but if you want to make it totally serious and suspenseful, then go ahead! I would prefer if there wasn't any slash or pairings, but that's up to you as well. uwu

Not necessarily. After all, it was canon in Xros wars manga, so it could be what happens when they come in the real world instead of devolving to baby level.

Ken wasn't able to push Ryo out of the way of Millenniummon's Dark Spores, so Ryo becomes infected instead of Ken (as result of this, the events of the D-1 Tamers and Brave Tamers games don't take place, and Ryo doesn't end up in the Tamers universe). Whether or not Ken joins Davis and the others or fights alone against Ryo is up to you.
An universe alteration in which the 02 kids are the original chosen children. Yamato and Taichi are Hikari and Takeru's younger siblings. A story about the 02 kids being in the Adventure kids situation or the Adventure kids in the 02 kids situation would both be fantastic. (Just imagine, Taichi looking up to Daisuke-sempai and Koushirou being Miyako's kohai in the computer club)

But it's a Sucker Punch AU- where Gennai is the Wise Man/ the General/ the bus driver. And their weapons are their Digimon. And the fantasy is in a summer camp (not a brothel) and the fantasy within that fantasy is in the Digital World (not all the places they went in the movie).
Apocalymon is Blue and the things they need to gather are related to the Dark Masters (or else Devimon is Blue and the things they gather are related to the parts of the island they got separated onto and Hikari is Taichi/Baby Doll's little sister who is missing because she's either dead or sick).
I may still try to do something with it, but I want to put it out there if anyone else wants to try their hand or else possibly work together.
