From the Augsburger Allgemeine (a newspaper local to Dillingen).

Kluftinger Filming Milk Money
A Killerpilz takes part in the Kluftinger Film

In the new Kluftinger film, Fabi Halbig, Dillinger drummer of Killerpilze, and Hans-Peter Lischka have a role. By Simone Bronnhuber

Wolfi Ayerle, the insolent farming son from Altusried: Dillinger Fabi Halbig (middle) plays this role in the new filming of the Kluftinger crime novel "Milk Money". The film will be broadcast this Thursday at 8:15 p.m. on the ARD.

A murder has happened in, of all places, Altusried, the hometown of Inspector Kluftinger. The food designer of the local dairy plant has been strangled. Priml. [I have no idea] The suspicious Inspector won't be tasting the Kässpatzen [a type of cheese pasta typical of the area] there anymore. The second book from Volker Klüpfel and Michael Kobr, called "Milk Money", has been filmed and can be viewed this Thursday at 8:15 p.m. on the ARD. German actor Herbert Knaup plays the role of Kluftinger- he investigates in his own special fashion and there also meets the Ayerle farming family and the insolent son, Wolfi. Fabi Halbig plays the rascal.

The Dillinger actually got started with his band Killerpilze, but scented and liked the air with the box office hit "Vorstadtkrokodile“ and became noticed by it. "This is my first role after the big movie and it was pretty exciting,“ says the 19-year-old. And like all others, he sent a video to the production company, ran through a casting, and was chosen in the end. "They were looking for a young feller from the Allgäu [a historical region in the deep south of Germany, mostly in Bavaria], who also had a small command of the dialect," Fabi tells us. And so that nothing would go awry in casting, he watched videos from Allgäu- "that’s how I have the dialect down pat." Altogether the Dillinger, who lives in Munich in the meantime, slipped into the role of Wolfi Ayerele for six days- and played in a brass band on others. "It was really fun and was a completely new experience for me."

Also, pictures and videos from the Donauinselfestival:

Someone took a picture of Benni. *gasp* Madness!

Oh, my God, Fabi, that is the ugliest goddamn shirt. If you were going to raid Jo's closet, why would you pick that piece? Ugh.

Is it just me or does Fabi lose about half his attractiveness when he's with Jo? Look at that picture up at the top. Now look at this one. I don't know if his personality changes around his brother or if Jo's just plain prettier than him or what, but he's definitely not as pleasant on the eyes here as above.

Look at that beard. Look closely at that goddamn beard. I thought Mäx was being lazy and just hadn't shaved in a few days. Nope. Mäx shaved under his chin. It's all beard and then no beard, like he wants to look scruffy but not actually be scruffy. What the fuck. Who does that?

Fugly ass shirt.

I would fuck Mäx so hard right here.

Here not so much. I like to think of these faces of his as reminiscent of something special. It rhymes with "go lace".

What the fuck is David going to do with those pictures? Sell them? I hope he doesn't collect them, because that would be crossing the line from aww, look at David following his big brother everywhere, into David, you're such a weirdo level.

Ah. He's shooting a video. Should have guessed that. This is a kind of a cool, meta, yet creepy angle: watching a video of David filming KiPi while also watching a video of KiPi. I, uh, might be overly sensitive to creepiness.
