[ She recognizes this place. She's never been here before - she's at the very least sure of that - and yet she definitely recognizes this place, even if it takes her a few moments to figure out where exactly she recognizes from. It isn't until she spots Rock and the-- ... torso lying around that she remembers it was during the last sequence of dreams that she saw something like this. And so, especially thanks to hearing Rock's story that one day in Demeleier, she realises what's happening even when the surroundings change to a large pillar looming heavy overhead, impending death and destruction for the island below.
Kyouko isn't entirely sure what to do, but at least she knows Rock is here too. And his rage at the torso, his gun levelled there, she can even understand that much. She frowns a little though - perhaps out of confusion for the sudden situation - as she calls out to announce her presence. ]
[ His breath hitched at the sound of another voice, his surprise clearly evident as he turned his head around and just flat out stared at her for a second or two. Why was she here? How did she get here to begin with? The questions briefly flashed through his mind before he shook them out of his head. They didn't matter right now. ]
You shouldn't be here.
[ His voice was... tight, his tone rather level. All the while, his determination (and maybe anger?) in his eyes didn't diminish, his gaze once more on the smiling torso as he kept his gun leveled on its head. Whether this was the Main Gate or a different location all together.
... But his shoulders were trembling. Ever so slightly. ]
P-Please, just... get away from here. [ A pause, before his voice sounded slightly more venomous. ] Get away from him.
[ Being told something like that.. On one hand, she understands why he would say it, but she still doesn't like being told that sort of thing. So she shrugs, trying to make her next line seem a bit casual and joking even if it's the truth. ]
Even if I'd want to leave, I'd have no clue how, sorry.
[ After that her look sobers up though, the grin fading away. Her eyes narrow slightly as she takes a few steps into Rock's (and the torso's) direction, although not quite standing next to them just yet. She doesn't say anything else to refuse his plea, but she figures the action itself should tell enough. ]
[ The action alone already spoke volumes to him, but at the same time, it only served to further frustrate Rock, his trembling shoulders tensing as he grit his teeth. She didn't need to be here, didn't need to see this. Her presence was only making this that much harder for him, especially considering that he knew he had to shoot Juno now. But as much as he wanted her to leave, he knew in the back of his mind that she wouldn't. And that only aggravated him further, making him close his eyes. ]
... I don't want you to see this.
[ He finally said, the Buster Gun trembling in his hand as he hesitated, visibly. And that hesitation was all Juno needed, its large gray arm raising to clutch at Rock's body as the mechanical monster stood up straight and held the blue boy tightly in its hand. Or claw, as the case may have been. Tight enough that the first thing that left Rock's mouth when Juno squeezed was a pained scream
( ... )
[He knows the what it means when someone has that certain tone of voice. He's heard it himself plenty of times. Even if the Main Gate looked completely alien to him, he walks in and to Rock's side without hesitation.]
[ Rock tensed slightly at the new voice, but the anxiety gave way to confusion when Rock turned his head to actually look at whoever it was. The voice had sounded familiar, but... he shook his head. It didn't matter right now. There were more important things to deal with.
Something that he was quickly reminded of when he looked up and saw the large looming monolith above him. ]
... I don't know what he's doing, but we have to stop EDEN from flattening everyone. [ Or at least, he assumed it was going to flatten them. It was never really clear. ] Go to the console over there and... I guess start pressing some buttons. Something has to stop it.
[He nods, strolling over to the computer. Rock, why are you sending probably the most computer illiterate person in Demeleier to mess with this stuff? You silly boy.]
[ To be fair, Rock isn't really in the best situation to think things clearly. And Ryu knows about as much about how to shut off EDEN as Rock does. ]
J-Just press buttons! It doesn't matter! Just--

[ The voice boomed strongly enough that for a second Rock forgot was he was saying. But in that same second, the gravity of the situation once again hit him like a truck. ]
[ Rock said it like it was the most obvious thing in the world, the words leaving his lips with absolutely no hesitation. Yet the tightness in his voice was still there, his body still tense as he continued to level the gun on Juno's head. After all, it was the truth, right? One way or another, Rock was going to stop this. It couldn't end any other way...
It couldn't. ]
... No. You're going to stop it! [ He spat out, gritting his teeth as he outright glared at Juno. ] Tell it to stop!
[However bleak the situation might've seemed, Homura remained oddly calm. It was amazing, really, how she showed no fear. Yet for her, she wasn't acting that differently from before.]
Tell me what needs to be done to destroy it, and how much time we have to accomplish this.

[ The disembodied voice boomed strongly throughout the currently-non-existent room, almost sounding like an announcement being declared via some kind of P.A. system. Still, Rock didn't care too much about the semantics of who was speaking right now. If anything, the announcement only made him grit his teeth more, his shoulders tensing as prepared to fire on Juno... but again, he hesitated. Always, he hesitated.
Even when he told himself that this wasn't a human being-- that this was a cold heartless machine that deserved nothing more than to be destroyed for the atrocities that it was trying to commit-- it still had a face. It still had an identity.
And it was the reason why Rock's plasma shot missed Juno's face by the barest of centimeters, scorching the floor right next to its face, but otherwise not actually shooting it. ]
[ That command was enough to shake Rock out of his anxiety, if only because of the confusion that it brought forth. But even with how confused that made him, he didn't bother questioning it right now. Now with how much was at stake this very moment.
So with a nod, Rock reached out to her hand and grabbed it. And just as quickly, he glanced back at Juno, almost as if expecting something to happen. Whether from Homura or Juno. ]
[ At the keying of Juno's code, an apparition that had drifted unseen across a small population's joined synapses found form that had once been forgotten. A simple form, really. Slender legs, delicate arms, cool eyes, soft hair, swathed in a plain white dress. An air of serenity encompassed the young woman as she returned to her shape, a peace in stark contrast to the thick tension that choked the room. ]
[ Bare feet reached the cold steel floor and eyes drew open in time with the cry that broke that briefest unyielding silence. ]
[ Her movements remained ghostlike as she drifted toward the scene, tugged by an invisible string. Within moments, she was between the adverse pair, a pale hand placed upon Rock's gun. ]
Stay your hand... [ Was the quiet command from a voice without edge. ]
[ For the briefest of moments, Rock actually looked incredulous at the command, his expression completely betraying him as he looked at the figure like she'd grown a second head. Stay his hand? He didn't know what that meant, but if it had anything to do with how she was lowering his Buster Gun... she couldn't have seriously been suggesting that he let him go, could she? Granted, he didn't want to have to destroy him if he could help it, but...
What in the world was he supposed to do? Let him kill everyone? ]
B-But...
[ Yet, as she lowered his gun, he didn't necessarily resist. Not just because of the air of command that surrounded the ghost-like figure, but because in the end... he didn't want to do it. He didn't want to destroy it. He wanted to stop it, to disable it. But he didn't want to kill it.
He lowered the Buster. ]
If you wish to shoot me, please do not hesitate.
[ Came Juno's reply, his voice a calm monotone still. But Rock didn't listen. ]
[ Save for lowering her hand, she remained motionless, all but unresponsive to both Rock's protest and Juno's invitation. ]
Further destruction is unnecessary.
[ It was quite unclear to whom her statement was addressed, but it certainly pertained to both, as placid blue eyes met EDEN's intimidating gaze above. ]
[ Rock remained unresponsive to her words, although whether it was because he wasn't listening or because he already knew that, was up for debate. Juno however, continued to smile up at them with that eerily calm demeanor, his gaze seemingly shifting to Zelda before looking straight up at the large monolith descending down upon them. ]

[ The battered torso spoke, his voice still that even monotone as he continued to smile up at the looming death above them. He then shifted his gaze back to the brunette. ]
That is my task. And it will continue to be carried out as we speak. [ The torso turned to look at Rock then, the boy looking just the slightest bit unsettled as that smiling face turned his way. ] My program has... already been backed up in EDEN's Central Core...

[Lloyd looks between Rock and the mutilated machine. He knows he's come in at a rather irreverent time, but in for a penny, in for a pound!]
That's quite the doozy, isn't it? How exactly are you going to deal with it?
