Sherlock Holmes

I watched yesterday an episode of Sherlock Holmes, and made a few caps. I think it must have been my first series obsession. They are from the episode 'The Empty House', when Holmes returns after 3 years of disappearance. It's very sweet.

Yes it's so slash! Most definitely! And you capture it so perfect!!! :)

I like the way his hair is perfect in the shot after the fight :)

LOL, yes, he's like Bond, looks perfect right after the fight :D.

It was such a sweet episode, and full of emotions. I never realised it was so slash before :) LOL Holmes is not big on displays of affection, but in this episode he let himself go a bit. Absolutely adorable.

Because we are infected now, and see slash everywhere. LOL :) Remember those icons, whit the slash quotes? We really would need some. Haven't you saved some of them accidentally?

He really caressed his face. It was very sweet. He wouldn't have done it I think if Watson was conscious. They were totally adorable, really. Even more than usual :)

(Sorry for nosing around ;) )
I cannot remember whether Sherlock Holmes or Old Shatterhand were my first crush, I guess it was around the same time when I was a teenager.

Have you heard about the new BBC series, written by Stephen Moffat and Mark Gatiss? It is called "Sherlock" and came out this August. I love it, it is a very young and modern Sherlock Holmes and the dialogues with Watson are very funny.

There are some slash references as well. I even got out my old Arthur Conan Doyle books and re-read them at the moment - guess what, they ARE very slashy! The way Watson writes about Holmes, you really get the impression he is in love with him. It is also very funny to find some certain quotes the series uses directly from the books. If you haven't seen it yet, I can highly recommend it.

So far three parts á 90 minutes, next year there will be more. I can hardly wait.

Oh, I don't mind nosing around :) I don't really post anything, so there isn't much to see.
I also think my first crush was Holmes. This Jeremy Brett version. It was so adorable, and he was a really wonderful Holmes. So perfect, I thought. And the love for each other really came through for me.
So you say the book would appear slashy too now? I have to read again then :) I can't remember what impression I had when I read the book back then.
I actually was surprised when I watched this episode I capped above again, how lovely slashy it felt.
I love the new, Moffat's Sherlock as well. How charming! I also can't wait for the next season. They talked about some 10 episodes, yes? I hope there'll be at least 10 episodes. The world needs more of this :)
Also loved the Robert Downey Jr. Holmes, but mostly because I love Robert Downey Jr. in everything. It was a bit different than the classic interpretation. But my heart is Jeremy Brett's as Holmes. He was the most perfect Holmes ever for me :)

I think we must have seen the Jeremy Brett version at the same time, during the eighties, I also have seen it in our GDR TV (where I lived, we weren't able to get TV from Western Germany ( ... )
