Eddy Payne passed away this past Sunday after a nearly decade long fight with cancer. I'm sorry to hear about your friend. My most sincere condolences. I'm there with you on the attempt to find a cure. I have a cousin that has been fighting cancer for nearly 16 years now. It goes into remission and comes back. She has had numerous surgeries on top of all the treatments. The most recent find is a tumor that is cannot be operated on because it is on an artery or something to the heart. They were able to shrink it but she must go in every 3 months for scans to keep an eye on it. Unfortunately it can come back at any time and she could die from it. She has 3 kids that are only 16, 13, and 10 and they could lose there mom at anytime. So I feel for you my dearest friend. All my love.
