I think that the number of times they conspire to cause each other's deaths in the third movie dashes your man romance ideas to pieces. Plus, anything created by a third party is automatically not canon.

Also, I'm just pissed because you managed to scar my brain with this sort of thing yet again.

Well, if you had a brain, you'd realize that the painting is for parody/pairing purposes only and has nothing to do with the actual plots of the movies.
