Well, after 2 weeks of taking the lexapro I can definitely say they're helping.  I don't feel it so much during the good things, but more the way sad things don't bring me down so much.  I feel a lot more positive about stuff than I did before and more motivated to do things (not that I'm actually doing anything, but at least I'm motivated to).  I ( Read more... )

That is awesome to see. Lisa is having such great luck with hers too. How is Melissa doing?

I am glad your dad is doing well. I don't have to know him to wish for him to get better because I know you, your feelings matter to me, and as your friend I would have nothing else I would wish for for your father.

That corp crap can really suck. I am glad in some ways I do not have to do that anymore. Then in the whole income way, I guess I could put up with it. LOL

We have not done our Xmas stuff either because of the cold. Hmmm, not sure if we will. Might, though, if it warms up!

It's far too early for Melissa to tell if the meds are gonna work or not. I know for me it took up to the last couple days to where I could really tell for sure that they were working and it wasn't just my imagination.

It's really appreciatied.

Yeah, between the income and having a good boss like I do, it makes it so I can put up with that crap.

Yeah, she just got started, didn't she? With everything going on right now, I guess they are going to get a good test, huh? :)

Well, I think Lisa wants to WoW if she isn't already. I have been down here doing a lot of deep thinking type of stuff.

And yes, it hurt. LOL

It looks like we will prolly be able to come down for New Years and we will only have Ash, Rich, and Tink with us if that's cool.

I'm freaking out due to my impending final here in about an hour but I'm glad the Lexapro is doing is work.

Now, I'm going to go find someplace to die.

Oh, I'm sure you'll do fine. And remember, you said you couldn't die before the 14th. :)

Good luck!

OH whine whine whine. At least you will have windows. I have been in the basement for the last 4 years, I think. Because cold air goes down, we are freezing all summer because the aholes on the 8th floor keep getting hot and need more cold air, probably so their drinks stay cold without needing ice and getting watered down. And then in the winter the heat rises to them so we are freezing all winter. We have no windows, and crappy artwork on the walls. When they moved us to the basement they could have at least given us better art to look at. But no the damn numbers followed from the 6th floor. And what is worse, they probably paid more for that piece of crap art than they have paid me the 9 years I have been there. And to top it all of, now we have whiney programmers take up some of our space.

I guess you aren't the only one who plays videogames when you should be working Mike. I saw one playing a nintendo ds yesterday.

And I don't play video games any more (unless I'm working from home). I just surf the net now.
