Today I have sanded - for hours. Who ever thought tongue and groove was a good idea for a very long wall should be taken out and shot. Its the fact that no one has done any preparation earlier so parts of previous layers fall off etc ( Read more... )

JPT helped me decorate my bedroom. He managed a textured paint effect for the bottom 3' of the wall. And unfortunately they are at their dad's this weekend. And I don't think not being in Yorkshire is a reasonable excuse... :-)

When/Where?
I have some spare time this weekend, and I even have rollers an' stuff.

Backroom, St Pauls Church, St Pauls Drive, Alverthorpe, Wakefield. (otherwise known as the church a stones throw from my house). Saturday and Sunday.

Thank you for the offer. I wasn't really expecting any kind of response to this, so actually I'm quite pleasantly surprised.

Me and Andrew should be able to sort it (he has after all been on a new deal painting course - well some of it - the bits he could be bothered to get up for) and I have done stacks of preparation work and the first coat on the ceiling.
