I just performed a quick inventory of the stores in our kitchen. Our company has a dozen and a half people only... Here's what it breaks down to in terms of... alcohol... 18 bottles of hard liquor, 31 bottles of various wines (about a 50/50 split of reds and whites), and 2 dozen bottles of Sam Adams.

Work is... what I wanted. I'm not worried about the pay... it's a great environment where everyone... and I mean *everyone* is intrinsically motivated. However, a lot of the employees don't leave the 'biodome' that we're in. This morning, I was working... and I had an annoying pop-up in the lower right corner. It read: "Microsoft Office Customer Experience Improvement Plan". Suggested improvement to enhance my experience: Kill the improvement plan.

Well, this weekend, I went to MIT to handle registration for my class (10+ students... We had 10 signups and probably more since only a small number went to registration (vacation weekend) so we expect a few more...) and I was camping in Plymouth (I went back to Boston during the trip). I can say one thing... Employment is good... The offices I work at are right above a string of shopping galleries as well as close to the heart of Boston... 5 minutes walk away gets me access to Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts, Au Bon Pain, and soon, Krispy Kreme... I just got hired... It's only an administrative assistant position, but... it would be a good experience. It's with the group that prepares Boston for the DNC in July, so it's as temporary as the convention. But hey, it's a position :)
