Wellesley is wonderful and I think you'll really enjoy it there. If you haven't already, it's a good idea to plan out buying winter clothes before you get here. Good boots that are waterproof will be your savior. I knew too many people from Florida, California and other warm places who had no proper winter gear when I was at school in Rochester, and their winters are even worse.

Can you rec' some boots, though? I'm set on warm clothing (for visiting family and whatnot), but I don't think I have good boots. Bonus if they're good on icy sidewalks!
