I just wanted to post a quick entry thanking all of those who are Jen's LJ friends for your thoughts and sympathies during this time. I know all of you are going through your own issues of loss and shock over Jen being gone and I appreciate that you are also reaching out to me as well

I think you're doing remarkably well and I admire you for how well you are coping. I honestly don't know what I'd do if anything happened to my partner of 27 years - I probably would just curl up in a corner and let our cats eat me or something.

Thank you for letting us be here to listen and for sharing your thoughts with us. I've always been taught that it's what friends do... be there for one another. And even though we've only "met" through shared sorrow and memories of a wonderful lady, it doesn't make the connection, or the friendship, any less.

You're doing well, it may not feel like it, but you are.
