Sorry to hear...I can certainly understand work woes...the only thing I'd caution is, not to make any huge decisions right now...that being said, it's totally OK to take time off...

i'm a little surprised that you didn't decide to take the month. i can totally understand the not caring. from all accounts, it doesn't seem like something worth caring about.
