It's pelican day outside my windows...

Three or four pelicans have shown up at the lagoon near my apartment and have decided to do some fishing. Although, as I write this they seem to be resting and not doing much...oh, spoke to soon, some just took off to dive bomb some fish.

I like pelicans. Wish I had an icon of them flying in formation. Or just one, doing that right-over-the-waves thing they do. That's so cool.

I got to watch some diving ducks the other day, from the other side of a glass wall. So cute. Lots of cormorants around. I've also noticed the crows sound different from ours. I joked with my friend it's because they speak Aussie instead of American English. :)

There is nothing more adorable than gawky funny pelicans because they look like they ought to be awkward and then they're not. *g*
