I know not everybody is, but I'm one of the people who are looking forward to the Goblet of Fire movie. It was my favorite Harry Potter book up until HBP came out (and HBP is more of a stand-in favorite for book 7, which is sure to be my favorite comes out). I think the trailer ROX. The music is awesome, the scenes are so cool. I'm looking foward

I'm not all that worried about it. They are pimping what the story does show, a close bond between Harry and Hermione that forms because of the temporary split with Harry and Ron. Just remember of the 2 who Harry will "sorely miss" ;)
This was all in the book and the movie makers are putting their spin on what is there. Yet in the Fandom, the girls say they are mostly like Hermione and most of the guys say they are like Harry, so of course those 2 get the most play, if you get my meaning. I wouldn't get bothered by the Dan/Emma shippers and the Harry/Hermione shippers who are both cases of people who see not what is, but what they want to see. Let 'em squee f it makes them happy, afterall, HBP ruined a perfectly good series for these shippers only because their ship didn't come in ;)

That's just the thing, I don't care about them squeeing. It's actually quite amusing. I care that the Ron/Hermione friendship is shafted, despite even the most minor relationship, platonic or otherwise, being represented. It makes no sense.

oh that's because they don't have one obviously *rolls eyes* I think what the movie makers are going to show, is just how into each other they are and that their friendship is more about sexual tension than platonic bonding. Ron and Hermione will prefer another type of bonding :D

You just made me feel much better. Let's not forget that practically a whole segment of the ABC special was dedicated to Ron/Hermione. I think it was the "Growing Pains" one. I'm sure they couldn't have just cut out the R/Hr subplot, it's just too important. I'm sure we'll get some pics soon.

Maybe after I see the actual movie I'll eat my words, and wonder why I even cared in the first place.

I'm really excited about this movie, so I REALLY don't want any sort of H/Hr to get me down. But honestly, even Harry/Mad-Eye Moody got some time in the light!!!
