I was going to because I am always curious as to what you are listening to, but then I wasn't sure if you still even read this old thing.

We need to get together soon and I need to pirate more of your music, it's almost a tradition now.

I bring it up about one every other month (usually when I am extraordinarily bored at work). Today happened to be that day.

I have so many new albums that you have to hear. Aranos, Andrew Liles, The Books, Boduf Songs, Jandek, Thighpaulsandra, Aeolian String Ensemble, Eluvium, Antony & the Johnsons, Mirror, The Dead Texan. Those are just the ones I can remember off the top of my head.

I thought it was amusing you had "John the Revelator" on your list. That track is one of the three songs on Playing the Angel I CANNOT FUCKING STAND (the other two are the ones Martin sings, fucking whiny bitch). Otherwise I really quite enjoy the album.

I haven't heard that Mission of Burma song in more than a decade. I remember Moby did a god-awful cover of it some time ago and that really ruined it for me.

Hahaha, I was going to ask what you thought of the new album. It took me a couple listens to actually like that song. I think that Precious and The Darkest Star are probably my favorites. I don't much like the Martin songs either.

I'm glad I haven't heard the Moby version of that song...I love that song.
