They're known as his messengers, to be precise. Ayanami presides over a unit dedicated to the manipulation of the warsfeil, the final stage of the Kor.

He can fight through another, but not without some connection to their soul. However...he's proven that he can do that against a person's will, as well.

I may be able to counteract such things; it depends on the precise methods he uses, of course, and how skilled he is at necromancy. And I would like to see him try it with me.

...ah, and would necromancy be one of the skills you posses, then, Morrolan-san?

It's as you say. I should explain that in the Empire, necromancy is simply that aspect of sorcery which concerns the soul, and movement between both worlds and states of existence; it's without the negative connotations I've observed it has in other worlds.

Certainly. I had assumed it was only natural, for the gods to return those who had not completed the purpose of their lives to the world.
