I'm trying to figure Lisa out. I don't like her as much as Ellen or s3 Ruby, but I think I DO like her, even if she sometimes seems ... way too agreeable for my health *snerk*
I am sure you know the kind of person who just makes so much sense that.... I don't even know how to finish this sentence....
funny thing is, I can see this Lisa be with Dean for ever. She is actually good for him, and he is good for her too. Now they (am including Sam here, 'cause there is hope, right?) have a point of normal life to resort to, things should be better, I hope.
No, this whole set up, now that I think about it, kind of reminds me of my all-time FAVORITEST EVER *snerk* fic - And the Devil Makes Three by killabeez, which is probably why Dean living a normal life and Sam hunting alone kind of rocks my world, ahahaha
Your second and third paragraphs = SO MUCH TRUTH. ITA.
But but but WHY did Mark have to die?! D: I hate that every time I go "Yay, X is guesting on Y! X is awesome! This is awesome! \o/", X goes and dies. ALWAYS. DANG IT. I get relatively plenty of opportunity to crush on David Paetkau, and hopefully he just had to go shoot more Flashpoint, but even so, SAD DAY.
aha, I totally forgot about the preview! YAY CAS! (It's the oddest thing, I completely adore him on the show, but I really dislike seeing him crop up in fic, IDEK)
*pats you* I'm sorry - I liked the quiet dude. He was kind of cool to have around. The other guy, though? Ugh, and could he take any longer to fuckin *creep* toward wherever the silver nets were? Christ on a cracker, I was just >:O
So.....it's not the Campbells who are this season's mystery bad guys...it's Lisa? Dadadummmmm!!!! That would be awesome (maybe, sort of), if she turned out to be not the capable, level headed, lucky as all hell (God damn, she's got Dean Fucking Winchester in her bed), woman that I'm starting to really like a lot. It would be a mind trip all right.
My money's on the Campbells though, and if Dean doesn't smack the shit out of Cousin Christian, and soon, I'll do it myself. Then he can punch Sam in the nose for telling the *family* all the intimate details of Dean's time in hell. I don't care how good his hair's looking, that's just not right.
And the Campbell family dynamic. Didn't the shifter KILL one of them? Did they even seem to care? What's up with that? I've got high hopes for this season too. Can't wait to see where it ends up.
oh, I wasn't trying to make any predictions, I'm just figuring out my feelings with regards to her :D
And the dynamic between Campbells - not emotional, I wasn't talking about that kind of stuff (I don't really think they're highly invested in each other, so them not having a strong reaction didn't bother me. I dunno, I'm weird?) - I just am fascinated by their interactions. It's intriguing. At least to me ;)
Yay for high hopes! They're nice to have again, LOL
Hey, the show is finally writing a strong, important female character! I know it's new and very unsettling, but try to embrace it. And pray she doesn't die.
Campbells: Gwen, Mark, Christian, Samuel. I think Christian is the one with the blonde goatee.
Oh, definitely sad. I was all D: all the way through it. At least they chose to trample on our hearts then and not in the rest of the ep (i.e., with the boys' interactions...)
Exactly. But also, why didn't Dean say anything about the fact Ben was PLAYING WITH A GUN? I thought she knew about hunting and all that jazz?
And all that talk about "you'll never ever shoot a gun" kind of veered off track when he didn't say anything about, you know, not touching any of kind of weapon unless Dean or Ben's mom is present, that sort of thing. The whole interaction was just a few degrees off to me, I guess.

This Lisa is ideal mature woman, I like her, a lot, am stunned. Meanwhile, Ben just lost all his personalities, must be new writers. me think.

Love where the show is going. Love Lisa. I mean come on, military families do that whole separation thing all the time. Good for her.
