I hate episode #s/titles ... WHAT THE HELL WAS TONIGHT'S? >:|

Okay, so I guess my experience of tonight's epi can be summed up with this: I much preferred writing a ten page WISC report to actually watching SPN. This means, I found writing stuff like:
The Perceptual Reasoning Index (PRI) is made up of 3 core tests (block design, picture concepts, and matrix reasoning). This measures a child’s ability to examine a problem, draw upon visual-motor and visual-spatial skills, organize their thoughts ....

more interesting than watching whatever the WinBros were doing (which were sulking and apparently trying to murder to death one of the few halfway decently played characters left on the show).

Don't get me wrong. I still caught most of the episode. Unfortunately.

It seems that the writers just took what little sympathy I had for Sam, and squashed it. Now, I'm not all "ooo, limp!souled!Sam" ... I'm like, "whatever, fuckin trying to kill Bobby again, no wonder he doesn't like you. DIE." (I actually told my mom, "eh, probably they should just kill him now." She agreed). I mean, at any time that I missed, did that damn angel actually say Sam had to kill Bobby? I believe his words were "you have to have the blood of your father, but your father needn't be blood," or something. Did he say an amount?

For all Sam knew, he only needed like a few drops, or maybe a pint or something. But, yeah, running around trying to kill Bobby makes much more sense to a guy who's supposed to be Mr. Logic and No Feelings. Also, personal note, Sam: STOP FUCKING SQUINTING YOUR GODDAMN EYES. I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE.

And Dean's running around like an ass, giving attitude to ... beings ... like he EVER actually does the shit he's supposed to. "Yeah, whatever, I'll kill everyone you say," and then not five minutes later, he's wibbling because ZOMG, LIFE'S NOT FAIR.

Awesome.

Yeah, obviously I didn't really care for it. I'm finding it hard to sympathize with any of the characters, now, let alone Sam (and if I can't 1) sympathize or 2) revel in the evil/dark/twistedness then I don't have a desire to watch. And I can't do the latter, because the show's just a damn mess).

I don't know, if I was really comfortable with another fandom's voice and characters, I'd definitely shift my focus away from SPN, probably totally. But, for some reason, this show's characters are the only ones I have a solid grasp on :C , so here I'll stay. Until my dissatisfaction creates a horrendous writer's block and I EXPLODE.
